Welcome to Venus Rings.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Venus Rings website, products, services, and purchases made through our online store.

Throughout these Terms, "Venus Rings," "we," "us," and "our" refer to CARBELL, doing business as Venus Rings.

By visiting our website, purchasing a product, submitting a custom order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Please read them carefully before using our website or placing an order.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services or make a purchase.

1. ONLINE STORE TERMS

By using our website or purchasing from Venus Rings, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement or have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

You may not use our products or services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

You may not attempt to interfere with the operation, security, or functionality of our website.

Violation of these Terms may result in termination or restriction of access to our services.

2. OUR JEWELRY

Venus Rings specializes in handcrafted jewelry.

Unlike mass-produced jewelry, our pieces are individually made and finished by hand.

Our jewelry may incorporate materials including, but not limited to:

  • Natural gemstones and minerals

  • Crushed stone

  • Meteorite

  • Fossils

  • Shell

  • Wood

  • Flowers

  • Sand

  • Metal shavings or flakes

  • Resin or epoxy inlays

  • Ceramic

  • Titanium

  • Tungsten

  • Precious metals

  • Customer-provided or sentimental materials

Natural and handcrafted materials inherently vary.

Differences in color, texture, pattern, stone distribution, grain, inclusions, inlay placement, and other small characteristics are normal.

These variations are part of the nature of handcrafted jewelry and do not automatically constitute a manufacturing defect.

We make reasonable efforts to photograph and describe our products accurately. However, colors and appearance may vary slightly depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, natural material variations, and the handmade nature of the product.

Nothing in this section limits rights provided by applicable consumer protection laws.

3. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Products and materials are subject to availability.

We reserve the right to discontinue products, designs, materials, sizes, finishes, or other options at any time.

Because some of our jewelry incorporates natural, limited, vintage, customer-supplied, or specialty materials, an exact material may occasionally become unavailable after an order is placed.

If this occurs and materially affects your order, we will contact you to discuss available alternatives or other appropriate options.

4. PRICES

Prices displayed on our website are subject to change without notice.

The price applicable to your purchase is generally the price displayed when your order is placed, except in cases of obvious pricing or technical errors.

Applicable taxes, shipping charges, customs fees, and other charges may be added where required.

Promotional prices, discount codes, and special offers may be subject to additional conditions and expiration dates.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions and discount codes cannot be combined.

5. ORDERS

We reserve the right to accept, decline, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:

  • Suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions

  • Incorrect pricing

  • Product or material unavailability

  • Technical errors

  • Orders we cannot reasonably fulfill

  • Suspected misuse of promotions

  • Violations of these Terms

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected and no product has been provided, the applicable amount will be refunded.

We may contact you for additional information before accepting or producing an order.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing, shipping, contact, sizing, and customization information.

6. RING SIZING

Customers are responsible for selecting their desired ring size when placing an order.

We strongly recommend having your finger professionally measured by a jeweler or using an appropriate sizing method before ordering.

Ring fit may vary depending on factors such as band width, ring profile, temperature, finger shape, and personal fit preference.

If you order the wrong size, eligible rings qualify for one complimentary size exchange in accordance with our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

There is no restocking or exchange fee for an eligible size exchange. However, the customer is responsible for applicable shipping costs when the originally selected size was incorrect.

If Venus Rings sends a size different from the size ordered, we will correct our error at no additional cost.

7. CUSTOM & PERSONALIZED ORDERS

Custom and personalized jewelry may include:

  • Customer-requested designs

  • Personalized engravings

  • Special materials

  • Non-standard configurations

  • Memorial jewelry

  • Jewelry incorporating customer-provided materials

  • Other modifications specifically requested by the customer

Customers are responsible for reviewing the specifications of a custom order before approving production.

Once production has begun, changes may not be possible or may require additional charges.

Because custom and personalized jewelry is created specifically for an individual customer, these items are generally final sale and are not eligible for standard returns or exchanges based on personal preference.

This restriction does not apply when there is a verified manufacturing defect, an error made by Venus Rings, or where applicable law provides otherwise.

8. CUSTOMER-PROVIDED & SENTIMENTAL MATERIALS

Venus Rings may accept customer-provided materials for incorporation into jewelry, including ashes, fabric, flowers, sand, hair, stone, or other sentimental materials.

By providing materials to Venus Rings, you represent that you have the legal right and any necessary permission to possess and provide those materials.

Customers are responsible for securely packaging and shipping materials to our studio.

We strongly recommend using tracked and appropriately insured shipping when sending valuable, sentimental, or irreplaceable materials.

Venus Rings is not responsible for customer materials lost or damaged before they are delivered to and received by us, except where required by law.

Some materials may be too fragile, unstable, hazardous, or otherwise unsuitable for incorporation into jewelry. We reserve the right to decline materials we reasonably believe cannot be safely or successfully used.

Because many sentimental materials are irreplaceable, we may use only the amount reasonably necessary to complete the jewelry.

Whenever reasonably possible, unused customer-provided materials will be returned with the completed order.

9. PRODUCTION TIMES

Our standard production time is approximately:

7–14 business days.

Business days exclude weekends and U.S. federal holidays.

Production time and shipping time are separate.

Production begins after payment has been confirmed and all information or materials necessary to complete the order have been received.

Custom or memorial orders requiring customer-provided materials generally begin production after those materials arrive and all necessary design details have been confirmed.

Because our jewelry is handcrafted, occasional production delays may occur.

Please contact us before ordering if you require jewelry by a specific date.

10. SHIPPING

Venus Rings offers free standard shipping within the United States.

Estimated U.S. transit time after dispatch is approximately:

2–5 business days.

International shipping is available to eligible destinations and is calculated at checkout.

Estimated international transit time after dispatch is approximately:

13–30 business days.

Shipping and delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Weather, customs processing, carrier disruptions, holidays, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery.

Expedited shipping reduces transit time only and does not automatically reduce production time.

11. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS, DUTIES & TAXES

International customers are responsible for applicable:

  • Import duties

  • Customs charges

  • Taxes

  • Brokerage charges

  • Local processing fees

  • Other destination-country charges

unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.

These charges are imposed by governments, customs agencies, carriers, or other third parties and are generally separate from the amount paid to Venus Rings.

Customers are responsible for understanding the import requirements applicable to their destination.

If an international shipment is refused or returned because required customs charges were not paid, applicable shipping, customs, carrier, or return costs may be deducted from any eligible refund to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights applicable in the customer's jurisdiction.

12. RETURNS & REFUNDS

Eligible standard products may be returned in accordance with our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

Eligible returns requesting a refund are subject to a:

$25 restocking fee per returned ring.

For eligible U.S. returns, the $25 fee includes a prepaid return shipping label, along with return processing, inspection, cleaning, and restocking.

Returned jewelry must meet our eligibility requirements, including being unworn, unused, undamaged, and in its original condition.

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method, less applicable fees.

No restocking fee applies when a return is required because Venus Rings sent an incorrect item or because of a verified manufacturing defect.

13. COMPLIMENTARY EXCHANGES

We would rather help you find a ring you love than have you keep something that isn't right for you.

For that reason, we offer one complimentary exchange per eligible ring.

Eligible customers may exchange a ring for:

  • A different size; or

  • A different eligible Venus Rings style.

There is no $25 restocking fee for an eligible exchange.

Customers are responsible for applicable shipping costs when an exchange is requested because of an incorrectly selected size or personal preference.

If the replacement item costs more than the original purchase, the customer is responsible for the price difference.

If the replacement item costs less, the applicable difference will be refunded.

The original item must comply with all eligibility requirements contained in our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

Additional complimentary exchanges are not guaranteed.

If an exchange is required because Venus Rings sent an incorrect item, incorrect size, or verified defective product, we will correct the issue at no additional cost.

14. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Please inspect your jewelry after delivery.

If you believe you received an incorrect, damaged, or defective item, contact us promptly and provide your order information and photographs when reasonably requested.

We will review the issue and determine an appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, exchange, or refund.

Normal variations inherent in natural materials and handcrafted jewelry are not automatically considered defects.

Damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper care, unauthorized modification, ordinary wear and tear, or circumstances occurring after delivery may not qualify as a manufacturing defect.

Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

15. JEWELRY CARE

Jewelry requires appropriate care.

Depending on the materials used, exposure to chemicals, hand sanitizer, cleaning products, cosmetics, excessive moisture, extreme temperatures, impacts, abrasion, or improper storage may damage jewelry.

Certain materials—including resin, wood, natural stone, ceramic, and decorative inlays—may require additional care.

Customers are responsible for following care instructions provided with their jewelry.

Damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorized alterations, or failure to follow reasonable care instructions may not constitute a manufacturing defect.

16. ACCURACY OF WEBSITE INFORMATION

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information on our website is accurate.

However, occasional errors, inaccuracies, or omissions may occur relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, availability, shipping charges, transit times, or other information.

We reserve the right to correct errors and update information when reasonably necessary.

If a material error affects an order you have already placed, we will handle the situation in accordance with applicable law.

17. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our store may rely on third-party providers for services including payment processing, ecommerce functionality, shipping, analytics, and other operations.

Our online store is hosted using services provided by Shopify.

Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for independent third-party websites or services outside our reasonable control, except as otherwise required by law.

18. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Our website may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.

We do not necessarily control or endorse those third-party websites.

You are responsible for reviewing the terms, privacy practices, and policies applicable to third-party services before using them.

19. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, content created for Venus Rings—including photographs, product designs, graphics, branding, logos, text, videos, product names, and other original content—is owned by or licensed to Venus Rings and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, commercially exploit, modify, or use our protected content without permission, except where permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Venus Rings intellectual property to you.

20. CUSTOMER CONTENT

If you voluntarily submit photographs, reviews, testimonials, comments, or other content to Venus Rings, you represent that you have the right to provide that content.

Submitting content does not automatically grant Venus Rings unrestricted rights to use a customer's personal photographs for advertising.

Where separate permission is reasonably appropriate for promotional use, we may request it.

Reviews submitted through website functionality may be displayed in connection with our products and services subject to applicable law and platform terms.

21. PROHIBITED USES

You may not use our website or services:

  • For unlawful purposes.

  • To violate applicable laws or regulations.

  • To infringe intellectual property rights.

  • To attempt unauthorized access to our systems.

Product-specific warranties or guarantees, if offered, are governed by their applicable terms.

24. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Venus Rings and its owners, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website, services, or products.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

These Terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights or remedies.

25. INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Venus Rings and its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors, and agents from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.

This provision does not apply to claims caused by Venus Rings where responsibility cannot legally be transferred to you.

26. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed where necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

27. NO WAIVER

Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms on one occasion does not constitute a permanent waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it later.

28. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Returns & Exchanges Policy, and other policies expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement governing your use of our services and purchases from Venus Rings.

If a specific product, promotion, custom order, or written agreement contains additional terms, those terms may also apply.

29. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and any separate agreements through which we provide services will be governed by the laws applicable to CARBELL,LLC in the State of Utah, United States, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply to customers in other jurisdictions.

30. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices, policies, or legal requirements.

The most current version will be published on our website with an updated revision date.

Changes generally apply prospectively.

Orders already placed remain subject to the terms applicable at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
